This is the book that I'm reading this weekend. Hope it's as good as the synopsis says. It's been a long time since I read a romance.

The need to get away from reality for a while is great!

End of the Year

We are coming up on the end of the year!

What did you like about 2017? What do you look forward to for 2018?

Those are the 2 questions I've been asking myself today. Thinking about 2017 I believe a grew as a person and got my head around what I want out of my life. (No regrets!)

For 2018, I think I want to begin traveling again. I have some trips that I have started planning (road trip music is a must). I haven't read as many books as I would have liked in 2017 but that will change in 2018.

The first road trip will be in March!!!

And I finally got a new photo.

I didn't realize that the Wonder Woman symbol was in the pic until afterwards!!! Go me!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I'll be writing more in the new year!!

It's Been A Long Time

I looked at this blog and realized it's been a long time since I posted anything.

Wow how time flies and how fast life moves on. A lot has happened and it's too much of a pain to go into detail so instead of looking backwards I'm going to look forwards!

This blog being overhauled. I don't travel as much as I used to so it doesn't make sense for me to have a travel blog. (Me being insightful) And when I did travel I didn't get a chance to blog as much as I wanted.

So this blog is going to be about random thoughts, revelations, books that may be interesting, and of course travel (when I get around to going anywhere).

I think I need more spontaneity in my life. (Me being insightful again).

I rarely if ever post pictures of myself. I actually had a family member state that they were going through old photos and there weren't a lot of pictures of me in them. I had to inform them that I'm the one that is always behind the camera not in front of it. He realized that he had gotten a lot of the pictures as copies from me. (Someone else being insightful)

Well here is the last selfie I took which just has me in the picture circa 2014.

I think I was trying to go for cute... I have no idea, maybe *smoldering*. My hair is no longer short and I will definitely not try the smoldering look again.

(Those who have seen the new Jumanji movie will know what I'm talking about. Those that haven't it's pretty good. I am not a movie critic so that's about as good as it gets. If I like it I will tell you.)

Once I have good lighting I will take a new picture.

I have been working to see how long I can get my hair in the next 3 1/2 years or until I can't take it any more. I haven't had long hair since I was 18, and by long I mean past my shoulder blades.
